Enriched Air (also known as Nitrox) is what we call any oxygen-nitrogen mix with a percentage of oxygen of more than 21% as found in normal breathing air.
Diving such a mix has the advantage that, given correct use, you can stay longer under water or dive with greater saftey margins (as compared to ordinary air). Particularly for depths beyond 18 meters where no-decompression times tend to get very short rather quickly as depth increases, Nitrox will let you enjoy the underwater world longer.
Used incorrectly, though, Nitrox carries signifcant risks. This course will teach you everything you need to know in order to dive safely with Nitrox and avoid its risks through correct use and planning.
